The Ridge Club

I have been with the company for three years, and during the summer of 2024, I was temporarily promoted to the role of merchandiser. In this position, I was responsible for a variety of tasks, including ordering products, inputting purchases into inventory, and creating product displays in the golf shop. I also managed seasonal sales and promotional campaigns, such as Fourth of July, and beginning and end-of-summer promotions.

Additionally, my responsibilities included monitoring inventory levels to ensure acceptable stock, analyzing sales trends to optimize product ordering, coordinating with vendors for convenient deliveries, and assisting with pricing strategies to maximize profitability. My focus was not only on maintaining a well-organized shop but also on enhancing the member & guest shopping experience by ensuring that the right products were available and attractively displayed.

As a private club, member input played a critical role in our merchandise selection. I engaged with members to gather feedback on preferred styles to enhance the product offerings for personal wear. This input was vital in curating products that not only appealed to their tastes but also boosted overall sales.
